    The NADEL Center for Development and Cooperation at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich) brings together researchers and practitioners to build and share knowledge for effective policy making to address global and local development challenges. NADEL also offers a MAS and CAS in Development and Cooperation providing students as well as professionals an inspiring learning environment in which they can acquire the knowledge and methods to find innovative solutions to contribute to sustainable and inclusive development worldwide. The NADEL is hosted by the Development Economics Group. The Development Economics Group conducts empirical and experimental research in economics to develop solutions to poverty and inequality and to improve the design of development policies. The research projects are often part of international and interdisciplinary research programs, collaborating with partners from developing countries and with development organizations. Most of the research activities focus on countries and cities of sub-Saharan Africa.
